This painting is a bold and layered abstract composition that feels both playful and deliberate. Blocks of colour—pale pinks, mossy greens, muted turquoise, and deep charcoal—are interwoven with textured brushstrokes and defined edges. There’s a satisfying balance between the soft, almost pastel shades and the more grounded earthy tones, giving the piece a sense of quiet structure.This piece came from a quiet, reflective place—a need to make sense of things that felt both grounded and out of reach. As I layered the colours, I found myself tracing emotional boundaries: the soft pinks carried gentleness and vulnerability, while the deep greens and dark strokes brought a steadiness, almost like an anchor.
